Just watched LAID TO REST, directed by Robert Hall. This is a slasher movie about a girl that wakes up with no memory and get chased around for the rest of the movie by a guy that wears a metal mask and calls himself Chromeskull...at least the name on the killer's personalized licence-plate. I really hate how modern horror movies use a really grating noise every 10 seconds to try and get you to jump; it's like a laugh-track on a sitcom telling you when to laugh. If there was 1 nice thing about the movie, it's the fact that it merely suggested a back-story without filling in any of the details. The back-story might surface in the sequel, but the fact that the killer died in the original has me scratching my head
