Levi Harrison’s review published on Letterboxd :
Just watched Gus Van Sant's LAST DAYS. This movie is sorta based on Kurt Cobain, or it's supposed to be an hommage to him or something. This movie was made later in Van Sant's career, and I gotta admit; I like the style. Long shots with very little dialogue and a minimalist story. I gotta be honest though; I didn't like this movie. Michael Pitt stars as the Cobain wanna-be, and incoherently mumbles his way through the entire movie. The only scene of a significance he has is when he talks with a talks to a yellow-pages representative who mistakes him for a normal person instead of a junked-out "rock-and-roll cliche." Harmony Korine has a cameo...not that it matters.
