Levi Harrison’s review:
Just watched THE MAN FROM EARTH, directed by Richard Schenkman. Most movies require a suspention of disbelief to work, but even the wildest fantasy-movie still has to keep one foot grounded in reality. That's my major problem with this movie; it just goes to far. It's about a college-professor who reveals to his friends that he is actually a 14,000 year old cave-man. That may sound far-fetched, but he later reveals that during his travels he was actually Jesus too...as if the 1st part wasn't hard enough to believe. My other hang-up with this movie; all the action basically takes place in a living-room; this approach worked for MY DINER WITH ANDRE, but not here.
