The Night Child 1975
One of the best films by Dallamano. Beautifully shot and with a spooky atmosphere. Nicoletta Elmi still is the scariest little girl I ever watched on screen . I'm also happy because I had the opportunity to visit Spoleto last summer. It's an amazing and beautiful Italian town in Umbria .

Django Unchained 2012
Sometimes I feel like an alien... what is wrong with me? Why am I unable to like a film which most of the people seem to enjoy?
Franco Nero, it was a pleasure to see you again. The only one besides listening to Bacalov and Morricone soundtracks... -
Exorcist: The Beginning 2004
Sometimes I ask myself wheather the invention of CGI was really helpful or a curse. Bad special effects are really annoying. Not to mention the script, which is even worse...
A few nice sets and tasteful colored images are not enough to create a good film. The possessed-make-up with these yellow fluorescent contact lenses were a insult for my eyes. Uah. -
Revenge of the Dead 1983
A disturbing little masterpiece from Maestro Pupi Avati. I always wonder if Stephen King had this film in mind when he was writing "Pet Sematary". Beware of the K-Zone!

Torso 1973
A few days ago, I visited Perugia. So I had to watch this film, which plays in this beautiful Italian town :) Sergio Martino was one of the best italian directors of his time and Torso definitly must have inspired other directors. (Even John Carpenter for Halloween?!)
The way Martino worked with colours and the suspense shows his talent. Although the story is - like the most stories in the giallo-genre- a little bit thin, it's thrilling and the beautiful set compensates a lot. -
Assault on Precinct 13 1976
Unfortunatly my range of vocabulary in English is limited.
The words I'd like to use to discribe this thrilling cult-movie are not easy for me to find...
But to make it short: Carpenter is a genius. I don't know many films which are so simple and effective at the same time.
He has chosen the right actors, composed a haunting score and did everything right to create a cult-movie.
I have to confess it was the first time I saw "Assault" (I never thought it would impress me anyway), but definitly not the last! -
Mark of the Devil 1970
Always nice to see Udo Kier when he was young and beautiful.
The SFX are very realistic (more than the CGI nowadays). Perhaps too realistic, because the movie is confiscated in Germany since a few years.
I always wonder if the composer was drugged when he wrote the main score, because it's very unusual for a fairly hard exploitation movie.
Later the music became more famous through "Cannibal Holocaust" by Ruggero Deodato. This thievish Italians :)
