The second of Sherwood Picture's films, and the one that boosted them into fame, the quality in Facing the Giants has improved greatly over their first.
The story is about Grant Taylor, the football coach at the local Christian school. Having never led his team to a winning victory in his 6 years of coaching, his job is threatened. Meanwhile, he is having private struggles at home, as he and his wife discover they cannot have children. Struggling with his life, he places his faith in God, determining to honor Him, no matter what the cost. This is a film about facing giants, having faith, and never giving up.
