Another Dreamworks film.
Kung Fu Panda is one of my favorite of theirs, so after hearing repeatedly that #2 was better, I've been interested in seeing it.
The story isn't spectacular, but it is fun, and certainly answers some questions that the first one arouses.
It's largely Kung Fu action sequences, so there is a lot of great animation, but I got a little bored.
The main thing going for Kung Fu Panda 2 is that it's incredibly clean. I typically watch a Dreamworks film expecting at least some crude humor, but, in the footsteps of the first, this is about as clean as it gets.
And there's loads of humor. There are a number of gags simply repeated from the first, but it's still funny... after all, a Kung Fu-fighting panda vs. an evil peacock...?
And of course, there's the whole sub-plot about searching for "inner peace." While it is taken very seriously because of the character's worldviews, it is portrayed with humor as well.
While I'm not sure I liked it quite as much as the first, it is still a fun watch.
