Letters to God is the story of Tyler, an eight year old boy with cancer. As his family and friends struggle with their faith in the circumstances, Tyler remains full of courage as he faces his battle, and writes letters to God, which make it into the hands of the postman, who is also struggling, searching for meaning.
Based on a true life story, the film is grasping at some powerful messages, but unfortunately, the result is a little too predictable and every emotion is spoken, giving it a slight unrealistic feel.
But it isn't without it's good moments. Bailee Madison's incredible performance as Samantha is certainly the highlight of the film.
