This might be my favorite in the Pirates series.
While the story gets a little muddy in places, the comedy helps to pull it through. Being largely comical, you get a little surprised at a few of the darker violent scenes. They don't quite feel like they belong.
Johnny Depp continues doing a perfect job as Captain Jack Sparrow, and his "hello beastie" scene is the best part of the movie.
The technical side of the film is about the same as the original. Nothing to complain about. Good lighting and cinematography and another great score.
If you don't mind a bit of violence, the film is quite clean, and is fun to watch every once in a while.
Ha, ha, its funny how people are different . This was my least favorite of the series.
Yeah, I'm not certain if it's my favorite. I haven't even watched all of them twice yet, and they run together some in my mind. I'm going through watching them again, so I'm trying to get a better idea. I did say might. :)
