Silent J’s review:
I'd like to personally thank mohanbharathi srinivasan for recommending me this film. Well, actually a very good personal friend of mine recommended me this earlier, but I never got around to it and somehow forgot about it. Thankfully, mohanbharathi srinivasan helped push me back in the direction of this outstanding film.
It's as inspiring as it is heartfelt and just as funny. This is the kind of feel good film that will leave you with a smile on your face and some food for thought. Many of the actors turn in deep and charming performances. The characters are very likable and the characters that you don't like end up being entertaining. Aamir Khan as Rancho is definitely my favorite of the cast. All three idiots have a bond that is both believable and relatable. There are moments where they win your empathy as well as your heart. The songs are really catchy. It's already a long film, but I loved it so much that I kinda wish it was longer. Lively and just brilliant. The cinematography, soundtrack, score, acting, directing, dialogue...all just excellent.
All in all, my words really don't do it justice. This is not only the best Bollywood film I've seen but one of the best films I've ever seen. Hilarious and heartbreaking; this is a film that I think I will find myself watching many times in the future and I think you should too. A must see.
