Plenty of creative kills and it certainly seems like Robert Englund is having as much fun with his character as he did in all the Nightmare films, but that's about it. Annoying characters, sloppy and messy script, and just stupid. Not in a way that's so stupid it's funny. It's just plain stupidity. Highly disappointing if you loved the original. Probably the worst of the Nightmare films.
