When I first heard of this film, the premise struck me as a dumbed down version of The Sixth Sense if The Sixth Sense was a comedy. When I finally got around to it, I was surprised to see it was a clever, highly original, sweet light-hearted comedy. Ricky Gervais gives a brilliant performance and has sweet chemistry with Tea Leoni as well as some hilariously witty dialogue exchange between him and Greg Kinnear. This is very good feel-good film that is packed with laughs, wit, and emotion.
