The characters are likable. You get great performances from Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhal as well as some supporting players like Josh Gad and Hank Azaria to name a couple. While the film can be intelligent and entertaining at time, it's cliched storytelling leave it muddled before it's all over.
