Actually, this is something I'm not sure Jesus had anything to do with. Well, maybe he had a little bit to do with it, but just by looking at the poster, you can tell this is a product solely from Seth MacFarlane.

Yeah yeah, I know this is basically a live action version of Family Guy but if you're like me and you like Family Guy, you'll probably like this film too. In fact, if you ever thought Peter should have been replaced with a slimer, built Mark Whalberg and Brian should be a talking teddy bear, you'll probably like this more than Family Guy. Like Family Guy, it has the kind of raunchy, ridiculous, crude, random humor I like and it's hilarious. Filled with memorable lines and some cool cameos, it's funny as hell to boot and despite how formulaic it is (and some of the best jokes were spoiled in the trailers), it's still an enjoyable trip. It's stupid, but it's hilarious and that's what counts.

All in all, it's not the funniest film I've seen this year (that honor goes to 21 Jump Street) but this comes as a pretty close second.
