Blood and Bone 2009
The more I watch this, the more I'm willing to forgive the underwhelming final fight.
But then I remember the final fight should have been SO much better and think otherwise.
Still a badass movie.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 2012
Wow...this was unexpected indeed...
Now, I'd probably be the first to admit I don't like the original LOTR trilogy, though I liked ROTK but that's it. Not a Ringer at all, but I still wanted to give this a chance. I remember loving the animated movie as a kid. Who knows, I might like this I thought. Plus, it's got Martin Freeman so there's that.
Needless to say, I really dug the hell out of it.
In fact, I loved… -
Star Trek Into Darkness 2013
Ok, now I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for this because of Benedict Cumberbatch (I'll get to him in a moment). I'm not a big Star Trek fan, or a fan at all for that matter, but the 2009 reboot was great for fans new and old. This however exceeds that film in nearly every way possible.
First, let me start by talking about the sole reason this is worth the price of admission...

Hamlet 2009
Before I go on with my review, I just have to brag about how perfect this day has been...
See, my English teacher had us do a project in which we had to do something fun and unique with 3 stories we read in our high school years. I compared 3 of Shakespeares characters (Hamlet, Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet, and the Shylock from Merchant of Venice) and then recite 3 soliliques, one was from Merchant, two from Hamlet. Everyone…

Romeo + Juliet 1996
Romeo oh Romeo...
Romeo+Juliet....how I loathe thee...
Let me count the ways...Where do I even start? I can literally give an entire commentary on why this pisses me off. I can write essays upon essays on why this just wrong. I can go on for days why Baz does such a horrible job representing Shakespeare. I can probably write a long ass essay for this review, but why waste your time by making myself slip into madness the more…

The Others 2001
That was scary as fuck....
Nothing scarier than the Ninth Doctor with hair...
The movie was pretty cray too.

A Very Potter Sequel 2010
THIS WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!
I prefer the first one but...
THIS WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!
In all honesty, I like the Harry Potter books and films, but I prefer this series a lot more than the original Potter series.
I can't wait until I see the next one because...
IT'S GONNA BE TOTALLY AWESOME!

A Very Potter Musical 2009
Coming from someone who's not even that big a fan of Harry Potter (at least not as much as he was a kid)...
This is fucking phenomenal.
Coming from someone who's never been that big a fan of musicals...
This is fucking phenomenal.
Coming from someone who's never heard of Starkid and never had much of an opinion of Darren Criss til now...
This is fucking phenomenal.
Coming from someone who like phenomenally funny shit with catchy songs sung by phenomenal actors with phenomenal singing voices...
This is fucking phenomenal.

Iron Man 3 2013
As we all know, The Avengers was awesome and we all couldn't wait to see what Marvel would do next or how they could even follow it up. Consider Iron Man 3 your first introduction to Phase Two of The Avengers Initiative.
Iron Man 3 is more of a sequel to The Avengers than Iron Man 2 (thank God!). In that respect, it makes you wonder how did they think they could successfully follow up the second most financially successful…

The Avengers 2012
This just makes me love the film even more.
Even the little things count in the biggest ways.
