Good lord I hope my movie doesn't suck.
How could it suck after I gave it such an awesome title?
IF SOMEONE ELSE DIRECTS IT. There are very few people I would accept other than myself.
I know very little about how studios work these days, but I also know a little bit so here's all I can tell you...
1. If you wanna direct, tell them. They say no, keep fighting.
2. If they try to fuck you in a way you don't like, tell them no and take control (Nicholas Winding Refn said something like that).
3. If they don't want you to direct, tell them the very few people you would accept and hope they choose someone on your shortlist.
If all else fails, at least you have an awesome title (unless they change it; in that case either take your script to another studio or you're fucked I guess)
I hope this helped cause this is all I got.
While that did help, I might actually try for the MFA program at my school, which requires me to direct a feature length film.
