    Independence Day: Resurgence

    ★★

Twenty years since the first Independence Day, Director Roland Emmerich returns with a sequel to his most successful film—and probably his best one, let's face it.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

    ★★★

Controversial director Michael Bay delivers his best film in years despite its imperfections. Based on a true story, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi tells the story of a group of 6 soldiers who are left in Libya after Colonel Gaddafi is overthrown to guard a secret CIA Base, from attack by militia.

This is the third time in his career that Bay has attempted to tell a true story, but this time it feels like he has found…
