Ticks 1993
I didn't know what I was going to think of this at first but it was FUN!
It was a gross-out horror film (which is not my go-to) but it was incredibly fun and INSANELY AWESOME to watch with an audience.
OMGZZZZZ!!! That was *the* best! To watch it in a theater with people?
Yes! Especially knowing that most people hate bugs of all kinds?
HA! This film gets right to the heart of that.
Rare to see a 35mm print of it! I'm a lucky girl! -
Slaughter High 1986
I can't say enough about how much I loved this. I'm really revisiting & exploring all these horror films that I've never seen & I feel so grateful to have been able to see this one on a big screen.
I don't think it's cheesy or bad or any of that. I genuinely love it and think it is seriously AWESOME. This was just fabulous.
Man. I wish I could go back to when these films played all the time in the theaters or came out all the time on VHS. I would be in heaven. -
A Bay of Blood 1971
OH MY GOD. GOOD GRAVY.
This was a life-changing experience.
This was one of the most beautiful prints I have ever seen and I had also never seen the film before so....everything basically ROCKED.SO SO SO good. I felt like a film princess getting to see such a beautiful print of such a well-shot & created horror work.
Just incredible. -
Rawhead Rex 1986
There was a good chunk of OMGWTFBBQ in this film and the monster costume was......well, yes.
But the narrative was actually REALLY AWESOME and I can 100% see why Clive Barker was like: screw this, I'm off to do this myself. Great to see w/an audience & on a big screen! -
The Horror of Party Beach 1964
Seriously fun little regional flick mixing beach party genre w/horror/monster films. Loved the music and the monster costumes. Rare film. Some VS, I think, as the focus was a little off in the middle in certain places, but it was just a blast!

Race with the Devil 1975
AMAZING print! 1st film in the New Bev all-night horror thon. Absolutely mindblowing. Just the kind of ending I like too. And Warren Oates....mmmm, yum!
