    Nightcrawler is a fantastic thriller that delivers on every level.

    When I left the cinema I spent some time reflecting on what a brilliant character Lou Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) was, and I realised I haven't been so swept away by a single character in a film since Patrick Bateman in American Psycho (2000).
