Wow, what a beautiful, messy, lovely film.
As everyone else on this site has stated, the lead performances are outstanding, which isn't much of a surprise given the cast. The plot manages to be consistently surprising but in a gentle way that kept everything grounded even in the more shocking moments. The Puppetman 2023
Brandon Christensen has really made a lane for himself as a director of lower budget horror films that often punch above their weight class. Even if he has yet to top his debut Still/Born, I've always enjoyed his work. With The Puppetman, he largely succeeds once again.
