Miyazaki-lite, which isn't a bad thing. Just lacks some of the punch from his earlier Ghibli works. Granted he didn't direct this one. Still very warm and heartfelt. Plays to my fascination of tiny people a la Micronauts. Worthy watch even if it's the English dub (to be fair most of the voice talent are good esp. Amy Poehler & Carol Burnett; David Henrie is dud, however). Still miss the days of the Studio Ghibli screening in Japanese...
