I really wanted to like this movie more than I did. Ryan Reynolds is the perfect Hal Jordan. The movie just throws too much together to create an origin story and not much else. The movie's 2 hours and the only true villain is a cloud of smoke (didn't these guys see Fantastic Four: Rise of the Sliver Surfer? It doesn't work). I really hope they get to make a sequel. I think a straight adventure story without all the origin material could really be successful.
