I love the fact that James Gunn came out of Troma and hasn't become so stuck up to forget his roots. Super feels like a sophisticated Troma movie.
If your movie contains Kevin Bacon as your baddie and Ellen Page as a rapist it's a sure bet it's going to be good. Super does not disappoint.
If all sidekicks could be like Boltie. sigh. Shut up Crime!
