Scott Kaczynski’s review published on Letterboxd :
I am not a Jim Carrey fan. However, this is the greatest of all his movies. The lisp is amazing. The worst part of this movie is it's the beginning of Broderick's "Schmuck years" which he still hasn't emerged from. Everyone else who has over-saturated the market (Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson) are all still mostly unknowns when this movie came out. Also you get some great bits from people who we need to see more (Andy Dick, David Cross, Leslie Mann). Dark and funny; just how I like my comedy.
