Frank Smiles’s review published on Letterboxd :
This film sits just outside my top 10 and is justifiably up there with the best. Initially starting out as a crime drama it soon becomes focused on a collision of different worlds and the increasing sexual tension between Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis. This leads up to one of the most erotic scenes ever put on film, reminiscent of Susan Sarandon and Burt Lancaster in Atlantic City (1980).
Throughout there is great acting, direction and cinematography, with echoes of Hitchcock and the western genre this is rightly considered one of the best movies to come out of the eighties.
