In all honesty I didn't know what I was going to be watching when I rented this on a whim from Love Film. The first half an hour charting the early life of artist Andrew Logan is quite engaging and uniquely presented using photographs and animation. It does however fall down from there on as we follow Andrew and his partner as they organise the twelfth Alternative Miss World Competition. A few interesting titbits of info about past co-hosts of the event do not make up for the fact that nothing really happens and watching a load of rich, exuberant, but on the whole nice people, spend a lot of money does not make for gripping viewing.
If you do decide to rent it, look out for Brian Eno's cat, it's the star of the movie.
