Tyler’s review:
I just saw Godard's own personal "One Plus One" cut of this film and I have to say I liked it. It basically consists of footage of the Rolling Stones working on their famous song (the song of the title) intercut with random political commentary from various individuals in such strange locations as bookshops, trashyards and forests. Some will be bored by this. Those who don't like Godard will hate it. But as usual with Godard I did manage to find something interesting and I have to say I think the film is very well-made. There are some great, memorable tracking shots, and while at times it's a little too much to swallow, it is for the most part pretty damn good.
Footnote: This isn't confirmed, but it may be the first English language movie to verbally use the word "cunt."
