Steve Tothill’s review:
I picked this up after reading my mate Dave's review and thankfully it really lived up to what I hoped I'd get from the documentary.
Roger Corman is a name I've encountered a lot over the years, but he's always managed to remain in shadow, mostly due to his films not being easily accessible. How often do you stumble across The Wasp Woman? So it's a wonderful experience to see the spotlight shone directly on him, along with the many actors and directors whose careers he helped launch as well as showcasing his art. The origins of Easy Rider came as a pleasant surprise, adding two more films to my 'must see' list...along with a whole host of others.
Filled with emotion and made with love, it's a great window into a very unique world of low budget moviemaking.
