The Bourne Ultimatum 2007

spclark14’s review:
The trilogy is now complete! The first thing I would say about Ultimatum is it has quite a different vibe to the first two films. It is action packed but there is more of a sense of tension and urgency as Bourne comes out into the open and takes the fight to the Treadstone. The scene where Bourne guides Paddy Considine's reporter through a packed Waterloo station which has enemies in every corner is thrilling, real edge of the seat stuff.
The action is really cranked up, the fight scenes seem more brutal and the car chase through New York is brilliant. Damon is superb in the role of Bourne and I can happily report that any misgivings I had about him being a convincing action hero have been arse kicked.
I'm still not entirely convinced about the ending but it's only a minor niggle. I'm really looking forward to seeing Jeremy Renner picking up the baton next month, I wonder if Damon will make a small cameo in The Bourne Legacy? Only time will tell.
