Sean Bennis-Sine’s review published on Letterboxd :
An above average martial arts flick that is heavy on Buddhist propaganda. Evil guy plans assassination of closest rival, his second in command takes opportunity to kill both rivals. Evil mans daughter dies, he become a buddhist and frees his townspeople from his former pupil who is now more evil than he is. Andy Lau gives a good performance and you get some Jackie Chan thrown in for the hell of it. Decent enough fighting to be worth a watch.
