I have to admit that I was hoping for more when I put this on. It had my interest initially but that soon wavered and I cared little for the outcome.

A great movie that helped remind me that I should venture out of my comfort zone when it comes to seeing new films.

Even with a darkness at the core of the story, it was great to see these characters develop and grow as the film goes on.

People mostly seemed to focus on Emma Watson when this was release, with it being one of her first post-Potter movies, but for me Logan Lerman stole the show with his portrayal of the fragile and broken Charlie.

It's been so long since I watched this, I had completely forgotten how much it resembles a horror film. For the entire first half of the film you don't even see the shark, just the bodies it leaves behind.

Aquatic horror will never be this good again.

Imagine eating every horror film you've ever seen and then filming it as you shit it out.
