TT3D: Closer to the Edge 2011
You don't need to like motor cycling to enjoy this documentary. The bikers all come across as genuine, down to earth guys & gals. It tackles the emotions going through the build up to the TT, wins & loses but more interesting is how people deal with crashes & deaths which occur every year.

Atonement 2007
I like how the music at the start fits so well with the typewriting then turns uplifting with the choir on the beach at Dunkirk but then can be still be so sorrowful. I like how the story isn't your usual love or war story. It's really about Briony's atonement for betraying her sister & her lover. We don't often get to see the everyday British soldier in World War II in recent films. The acting is great all round. Particularly the scene where Knightly & McAvoy meet again. It's all about the facial expressions. The long shot on the beach is fantastic!

The Fighter 2010
This is probably the best boxing film I've seen. I've only seen two. Million Dollar Baby & this. They were both rather good. The acting is fantastic & what makes them similar is that the films aren't just about boxing but delve into subjects like drug abuse & the right to die. The final fight from The Fighter is also close to the original footage.
