    ★★★½ Watched 18 Jun, 2013

    Totally solid and enjoyable.

  • I Am Not A Hipster 2013

    ★★★½ Watched 15 Jun, 2013

Glad to have seen this movie. I think it's understandable because of the budget, but I think the script / dialog could have used a little more love.

  • The Kings of Summer 2013

    ★★★★ Watched 13 Jun, 2013

Really enjoyed this one. Great mix of charm and hart, could have used a less obvious plot, but great performances helped a lot.

  • The Internship 2013

    ★★½ Watched 11 Jun, 2013

Totally adequate, not as funny as Wedding Crashers (cast) not enough turns to make the story *really* interesting (Vaughn has story credit + co-screenplay) but surprisingly good photography (Jonathan Brown was DP and also did good work on romcom stuff like Just Married and School for Scoundrels) and reasonably well rounded depiction of a non-Googlers experience on Google campus, which was good.

    No me gusta.

  • Mud 2013

    ★★★ Watched 08 May, 2013

    Remarkably meh.

  • The Shining 1980

    ★★★ Watched 05 May, 2013

I think I must be missing something. Planning on watching this again, maybe later tonight or tomorrow.

  • Disconnect 2013

    ★★★ Rewatched 26 Apr, 2013

This feels like a very well made, but very cynical after-school special about the dangers of social media.

  • Olympus Has Fallen 2013

    Watched 04 Apr, 2013

Feel free to have an obnoxiously obvious plot if you've got dope action scenes and effects.

If your effects are mediocre and the action set pieces are boring, maybe try to step it up in the plot department.

  • Parker 2013

    ½ Added 4

Avoid this film at all costs. It has zero redeeming qualities. I still love Jason Statham.

  • The Fast and the Furious 2001

    ★★½ Rewatched 05 Jan, 2013

Surprised how well this holds up.

  • Compliance 2012

    Watched 03 Jan, 2013

It took me at least 5 tries to make it all the way through this.
