Steve McFarland’s review published on Letterboxd :
I'd heard that at an earlier screening, a couple of the reels had been shown out of order, but no one noticed. A few minutes in, I though I might leave early to go get a milkshake. But then you get sucked in by the color and the stark contrast of Vitti's terrific acting against a backdrop of desolation, and it turns out to be a great, affecting film, quite in line with L'Avventura. Here, Vitti shines all the more.
