Shutter Island 2010
Brilliant! From the off i couldn't stop watching. This hooked me at the start and did not let up. One of the few movies I've wanted to watch immediately after its just finished. Perfect pace/tension/intrigue.

Where Eagles Dare 1968
You are entitled to know........nothing. Richard Burton playing a British agent the way it should be, none of this 007 nonsense. He's behind enemy lines during WWII on a mission where nobody can be trusted except for trigger happy assassin he's brought with him...maybe? The assassin might be played by Clint Eastwood but after Burtons performance I'm not even sure if i've seen the film.

The Thing 1982
I can never decide my favourite film but whenever i try, whatever has prompted me to rethink is always dueling it out with The Thing. I remember onetime it was snowing outside and i though "I gotta watch The Thing right now" and I couldn't find my copy so i went out and bought another one right then.
