Steve Dennis’s review:
It's best to try not to read too much about this film before seeing it, and I would definitely nominate the trailer as one of 2011's best.
Owen Wilson is a great stand-in for an aging Woody Allen (who I'm sure years ago would have played this part himself). The film is as effective a love letter to the city of Paris as his earlier work was to New York.
Anyone with an appreciation for art history will also find a lot to love in this film.
