A list of all the non-english sci-fi movies I have either seen or want to see. Recommendations are welcome, as usual.
A great little Dogma film with good performances by all involved. Marie is out driving with her daughter Stine and accidentally runs over Joachim, who is getting out of a car, having just kissed Cæcilie, his fiancée, goodbye. Once at the hospital it turns out the doctor she talks to is the husband of Marie, Niels. As Joachim can't deal with what has happened, Cæcilie turns to Niels for comfort.
A good example of how one random event can change your life and the path you are going down forever.
Nikolaj Lie Kaas is very good at playing characters that are slightly off one way or another. He can bring a sort of childish naivety to his roles, if needed. He does it again in this film and although there are some wonderful lines in the film, and it has its heart in the right place, somehow it doesn't feel real or resonate with me. Sort of like Dumb and Dumber, but without the laughs...
Wonder why there are so many versions. I'll keep a look out for the Final Cut.

I haven't seen the DC I don't think. In fact I have only seen it once, the regular version I think, and that was about 25 years ago. Wasn't overwhelmed by it, but that could just be that I saw it after Total Recall and expected another film like that.…

The top 10 list of actresses that many consider beautiful and sexy, but I have yet to see them portray a person with any kind of genuine warmth. This is not to say that they are not good actresses. I have seen them do excellent work... just not being characters I cared about.
My #1 would be Aliens. I have never been so glad that they "found" another 20 minutes and it makes it an even better story.
