I had seen this movie before but was so excited to see it on Netflix over the weekend that I had to give it another watch. A good movie with descent acting and a descent story. It is what it is, it your looking for a shawshank type movie this isn't it. Even though theres plenty of violence it's not as dark as that movie. Edward Furlong is good as a young kid who gets sent to a maximum security prison for weed. Which seams unlikely but ok. Willam Defoe quickly becomes his mentor and takes him under his wing. I gotta say I love Tom Arnold but his acting his so bad it's not even funny. You will know what I mean if you see it. This is my first entry so I'm keeping it short. If you haven't seen this movie definitely give it a watch on Netflix now.
