American Reunion is far better than I expected it to be. Sure the jokes are a little stale at this point and it relies heavily on pandering to the nostalgia of the series, but one thing I truly like about all of these movies (minus the direct to DVD spinoffs) is that they all truly attempt to try and tell a story about growing up during a specific stage of ones life. Whether or not they are successful in doing so is debatable, but at least there is an earnest attempt to go above strictly grossout humor (much like those DVD spinoffs).

Truth be told I'll most likely always have a soft spot for this series, and it was damn fun to hang out with the gang again.
