Letterboxd — Your life in film

I'm sure someday I'll be hallucinating old movie stars too. Probably Ingrid though, not Bogie, or maybe Dooley Wilson, Sam was always my favorite anyways.

This was a cute movie. Jane Wyman, Ann Sheridan, and Alexis Smith were good, but Eve Arden as the Russian general Natalya has got to be my favorite part. It's not a typical role for her, but as usual she was fabulous.

This film was not very good. However, it was worth seeing for me just to swoon over Katharine Hepburn in dapper suits and hear Cary Grant's hilarious cockney accent. It's one of those films that even though I can't stand it I have to keep watching.

I'm surprised at how many people loved this film.

I just didn't like it overall. The cinematography was beautiful and the acting wasn't terrible. However, the entire second half of the film made little sense. It was hard to follow and near the end I was constantly wondering how Cillian Murphy's character wasn't dead yet.
