Breaking Up is Hard to Do
Pretty self-explanatory. I want to collect all of the movies that deal with relationships falling apart/ending. I'm also interested in films that deal with the aftermath of a break-up.
Suggestions welcome!
@Ole, the first movie that came to mind for me was Lars and The Real Girl, but, it's been long enough since I've seen it that I couldn't remember the ending!
Lars and the Real Girl is amazing. Such a fun, thoughtful, emotional film with some great performances too. Great movie.

The Puffy Chair (Duplass bros' first feature)
The Wackness (falling in love & breaking up in the hip hop early 90s)
A Complete History of my Sexual Failures - nuff said.
The 40 Year Old Virgin - dunno if this one qualifies, but Paul Rudd's post-breakup subplot is appropriate.

i guess this list is a bit ambitious, but i originally intended it to be a list of movies about breaking up, not just movies that contain break-ups but are about something else. i do like what it's turned into, though. i've already seen 79% of the ones listed, which i find interesting. that's probably the highest for a list i've started w/suggestions from other letterboxers!
