A bit of a weird movie, it seems to suffer from the same issue a lot of film adaptations of books suffer. A lot of things go unexplained, and it's hard to tell if it's because we're already supposed to know, or if it's something we'll find out later.

Also, like other "first in a series of books" movies, it feels unfinished, and I have no idea if there is going to be a sequel produced or not. Quite frankly, I don't really care.

It wasn't a completely terrible movie, but there are a lot of things I would recommend instead of this.
