The Dark Knight is way, way too high on this list.
May be. I liked it and all but I don't think it's THAT great.
Also, Transformers and Sideways should, at least, trade spaces.

Empire's reasoning for that is as follows: "The ballsiest make-over any saga has ever undergone, this goes back to Bond’s beginnings, finding previously skimped Ian Fleming elements, and fits the hero into a modern, post-Jason Bourne world."
Still though, surely there are more than 55 films that are better than that one. Silly Empire.
As with everything movie-based it's all subjective but, yes... there surely are 55 movies better than that and of course they are more then 14 better that The Dark Knight.
Although, as I'm watching the movies listed, I can't help but believe it's not exactly quality they're measuring, rather than impact or something like that.
@AdamMca: This actual Letterboxd list, not that much. About two hours stretched between the days of a week. The actual Empire list, I think it was a month-long poll.
