Tomboy 2011
This movie does a wonderful job of exploring gender, innocence an relationships from a child's point-of-view. There isn't anything necessarily moving about the story itself, but the relationships within the family definitely tug on your heart strings. The acting is perfect for the film, especially Zoé Héran in the lead role. It's a very honest and sad, but not in a way that makes you want to cry, just in that you really feel for the protagonist.
