If I could travel anywhere in time and space, I think going to France in the 1960's would be towards the top of my list. The actresses of this time: Catherine Deneuve, Brigitte Bardot, Anna Karina, the list goes on and on.. among the most beautiful women that ever lived. I have a strange idealistic yearning for that time.

But anyway, Deneuve is as alluring as ever in this film. It deftly balances surrealistic dreams and reality, and is so compelling. I love it.
