To say this was a slight change of pace from Total Recall would be the greatest understatement ever uttered.
I often find myself a bit perplexed with Bergman films. I like the slow, weighted kind of style but the heavy philosophical and spiritual themes are often a bit lost on me. This is standard Bergman in that regard. For some reason it's labelled as a thriller on Netflix. I don't think so!
But yeah, I liked this somewhat. As mentioned, I like the pace of Bergman films. It's kind of rhythmic and relaxing. I also liked the surreal imagery and the editing. Not too bad.
