It's kind of redundant to review each of these when there are already 7 installments, I suppose, but hey: there's nothing wrong with having expectations for individual films, even if they're smaller parts in a larger story. The opening chapter to this epic is understandably slow; lengthy conversations with some seven year olds can only be interesting for so long and the movie does nothing to compensate for that. It's cute enough and less than 30 minutes long, but this film is largely all promise and set up.
