Another example of the brilliant madness that director/writer Alex De La Iglesia brings to the table. Imagine a caper film inspired by The wild Bunch, The Fearless Vampire Killers, The Wizard Of Gore, 1976' King Kong, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Munsters, The Addams Family, The Sugarland Express, Dead Alive, London After Midnight & 1978' Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.
Then throw in a town full of witches hellbent on world domination.
And you'll still marvel at what you're about to witness at this film. Although it's so batshit crazy at times you might get lost in the shuffle.
It's still a must to watch.
The title makes no sense. The film makes no sense. It's just an excuse for 90 minutes of misogynistic nonsense from filmmakers who should be banned from ever using a camera ever again. God awful acting, cinematography, editing, pacing, scripting. The half star rating is for star Bill Oberst Jr, a truly hard working & talented actor who is pretty creepy as lead clown Papa Corn but sadly has no filter as to what jobs he'll take. He needs a better agent, a much better agent.
And for some god forsaken reason, the producers have promised...a sequel.
Shoot me now.
