A solid transition from book to screen, the movie like the book is still a very long introduction into the major characters and dramatic themes to the series, interesting choice of pacing, with not much happening until all the strands come together, and there are several subplots that I thought was important in the book but where cut out compleatly but all in all, a very intriguing hard hitting movie....
