The Letterboxd Festival - Film #4
This week is now over!
Time for week 4 of the Letterboxd Festival! Not nearly as many people have watched the third film, and so far it is the lowest rated film with an average rating just below 3. Go here to see the reviews.
This week we'll be watching Transsiberian chosen by Steve Grzesiak. To join in, simply watch the film, review it or just rate it, and tag it "festival 4". I will then add all reviews beneath.
The film has reached an average rating of 2.96 with a total of 14 ratings.
Next week's film will be Alamar.
I'll arm wrestle you for the wooden spoon, Steve.
I think we should just share it and use it to beat the plonkers who ranked The Square above our great films!
But that would mean I'd be beating myself up too.
Indeed it does, Adam. Indeed it does ;)
In all seriousness, though, I'm really surprised that Across 110th Street didn't do a lot better, that was a fine film.
Whoa, I hadn't even noticed that! That's pretty weird. If anyone has any ideas as to how it could be decided, please let me know.
@Steve: Yeah I was a little surprised but I do appreciate most of the criticisms.
@Ron: The only fair way to do it is organise it alphabetically, either by film title or user name.
Think you meant Aaron, perhaps? But yes, I think you're right. Steve would probably argue otherwise as it would put you ahead either way, both by "Cook" and "Across". Haha :)
Oops, at least @Ron sounds pretty close to Aaron.
I was thinking the same thing. Might consider a change of name.
I was thinking we could get the director of our respective films to fight a duel on our respective behalves to settle it.
And as Barry Shear is dead and Brad Anderson, well, isn't, I win! Woo hoo!
