Have you ever been punched so hard in the face you had an orgasm? Thats the best way I can think of describing this film, well the first hour anyway.

The first half of the film is so much fun with its great imaginative visuals, amazing make-up, wild stunts, ridiculously fun action, wonderful array of characters, wonderful make up and complete and utter mayhem with no holds barred. Really great fun stuff and was better than I thought it would…

This is brilliant entertainment. The guy has made the best movie of all time about a talking pig and now he has made quite possibly the best road movie of all time. Granted one is more of an achievement than the other but props to the man!

Had heard very mixed things about this so went in warily. I really loved it. Some wonderful film making going on here. I liked the characters and they were so well played. The cinematography is quite something and although it could be seen as a gimmick, when it is this well done it adds something special to it. Love the way it doesnt spell things out and you need to do a bit of work yourself to work things out. Impressive stuff.

Absolutely wonderful piece of film making. I knew nothing going which was a bonus.

This film works on so many levels. As a father to a lovely one year old daughter this film really drew me in. The main story between the father and daughter really resonated with me and I found myself torn between the plight of the human race and the want to see his daughter again. Beneath this plot was the space exploration thread and above it…

Really enjoyed this. I always find that Tarantinos films get better every watch. Ive never loved one of his films after the first watch but grow to love them on subsequent viewings. This is no different but am really looking forward to seeing this again. QT does a great table scene doesnt he? Im sure in a few years time people will be holding this in the same regard as Basterds is now.

Really beautifully shot film with an interesting idea. Very weird the whole idea and it is played well by Phoenix who does the weirdo role well. Its a bit similar to the 80s electric dreams film which is nowhere near as well made but somehow more fun. This just lacked a bit of warmth and felt a bit uncomfortable at times. Still a very interesting watch and so good to look at. Jones certainly is creative and has a very artful eye.

Possibly the greatest trashy movie ever made. It put me in mind of Basic instinct in the fact it is one of these real B movie type stories and both are really well done by great directors. Fincher can't do any wrong for me and this was great fun. I knew nothing about it going in at all apart from the fact it was DF directing. It was not at all the type of film that I thought he would make, but he did and its well worth the watch. Looking forward to watching this again.
